Fieldwork

As a short term consultant for the World Bank DIME team, I was involved in an impact evaluation of the Agriculture Cluster Development Project of the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry, and Fisheries, which surveyed 2,160 farm households in 4 districts in Uganda.

I have also been trained in qualitative methods, including focus group discussions and key informant interviews, as well as ethnographic participant observation. As part of the USAID LAND Project, I conducted focus groups on gender and land rights in Rwanda in 2014. I also did short-term ethnographic fieldwork on concepts of destiny in Madagascar in 2011.
