I am an Assistant Professor in the department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics at Michigan State University. I am an applied microeconomist working in the fields of development economics, econometrics, and public economics, and received my PhD in Agricultural & Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis. Previously, I was an assistant professor in the department of economics at Villanova University.
My research primarily looks at the implications of customary tenure systems in Sub-Saharan Africa, including for agricultural investment decisions and political behavior.
